With the deluxe addition of a laminated quilted maple top, a more classic Scroll-Style headstock and a few other sweet upgrades, this D'Angelico offering takes the Excel DC to the XT. While this is definitely a step up from the standard Excel, the 16 inch wide body, the thin-C neck profile, rosewood fretboard and flat 16 inch radius all remain, gifting the Excel DC XT with impeccable comfort and light and nimble playability.
